There are many kinds of shapes tool used in Adobe Photoshop.
The main types of shape tools are:
  • Rectangle Tool
  • Rounded Rectangle Tool
  • Polygonal Tool
  • Line Tool 
  • Custom Shapes Tool
Rectangle Tool:
It helps to make rectangle shapes in the image according to the shape and size of the requirement.

Rounded Rectangle:
This tool help us to make rounded rectangle in the image.

Polygonal Tool:
It helps to make the polygonal shapes i.e.triangle,rectangle,square,pentagon ,hexagon,septagon,octagon,nanogon etc.

Line Tool :
It helps to draw lines either straight by holding shift key and drawing in the image or by simply by pulling by selecting the line tool.

Custom shape Tool:
This tool gives various kinds of  inbuilt shape for the user.The status bar helps you to select multiple shapes for drawing them.
